Victor’s sons, Jerry and John joined him in the business, spending most of their energy on gentrifying the greater Pontiac area. At the beginning of their career with Opperman & Sons, the term “gentrification” was coined. Jerry and John spent a large amount of time renovating and improving the homes and buildings in the area.
